16: Two More New Songs Posted Online

Legendary sludge misanthropes 16 have posted two more tracks — "So Broken Down" and "Man Interrupted" — on their MySpace page. The songs come off the group's new album, "Bridges To Burn", which is scheduled for release on January 20, 2009 (January 26 internationally) through Relapse Records.

16, which has reformed with the original "Dropout" lineup of Cris Jerue (vocals),Tony Baumeister (bass),Bobby Ferry (guitar),and Jason Corley (drums),has announced a number of West Coast tour dates, including a "Bridges To Burn" record-release show on January 24 in Los Angeles.

Since forming in the early '90s, 16 has released a number of full-length albums and split releases. 16 has also toured the globe, sharing stages with SLAYER, NEUROSIS, GRIEF, MELVINS, UNSANE, MASTODON, HIS HERO IS GONE, BOTCH, and many more.
